Modelry - A Random Walk through Internet Real Estate: Making of the TV Commercial

Making of the TV Commercial

Learn about the making of the TV Commercial

By now, you have probably seen the TV Commercial or at least heard about it.  If not, click here to watch the TV Commercial.

If you are interested, I also wanted to post some of the behind the scenes footage of the filming of the TV Commercial.  We used a great and very talented creative agency called Jones Advertising in Seattle (who we have used in the past for our other commercials).

We filmed the entire commercial against a green screen.  It took about half a day of filming for a 30 second commercial.  The President Mark Jones was really impressive in terms of driecting the actors.  It must have been tough as they were filmed against a blank green wall for the whole time.

Then the magic really happened behind the scenes, using computer animation to make the pictures move across the screen, the flag wave in the wind, and the pots and pans clicking and clanking in the kitchen.  Really cool stuff.

I have new respect for the magic of Hollywood!  Check out the videos below to learn about the making of the TV Commercial.

Must take a great imagination to act before a green screen. I'm not sure I could do it.

I enjoyed watching that. I really appreciate how they put the work into this to keep our attention.

It's so interesting how much stuff is done by computer now, behind the scenes and after things are shot.  They don't make movies anymore!  They make computers.  Great video, by the way!
