Call Me Maybe...

Incredible creativity doing some real guerilla marketing.  My only suggestion would be to add some additional text to her blog so that she can get some awesome SEO results for her blog.  I would also change the title of the YouTube video.  She is probably getting a TON of people looking for Call Me Maybe & Carley Rae Jepsen.  A little tweak here and there and this could be even bigger and better than it already is.

Actually Niki, by the video being labeled properly with the title of the song, she is getting exactly what she wants, which is a ton of exposure by it ranking well in YouTube's search engines for a highly popular song at the moment.  It's working well, she is already at almost 21,000 views in just a few days!

I am interested in your and others feedback on this age-old debate on this.   Yes, she is getting a lot of people interested in video meme on Call Me Maybe, but most are not interested in real estate and not in North Carolina.  If the consumers were targeted to North Carolina, I would argue that this could be / would be a winner, OR if Jessica had a product she could sell to everyone around the country,then I would be more in favor of national / international brand building.

I will let the AR post settle for a month and then see where the traffic comes from.

I have to side with Nikesh on this, there may be a chance someone will hit on this because of the song title and just so happen to want NC real estate but that kind of marketing would be as effective as direct mail.  Hugely clever effort on the part of this office and could be used as a great recruiting tool...who wouldn't want to be part of that kind of fun group.

Maybe she won't get a ton of leads ...out of over 21,000 views maybe 1 or 2

on the other hand ....

Maybe she will get allot of Google juice so when she targets her market this might be key !

There is Branding and there are leads, they are not the same.  This video Brands the agent as fun, up to date and willing to market in new ways.  Whether they are from her area or not is unimportant, what is important is that she has content out there that shows her as she is.  This is priceless.

Whoa, hold the bus. She made the video private and so she is loosing all the juice.  The toe was in the water, but she is not swimming. The disappointment at not seeing the content is more likely to make me not want to be fooled again with a link, or video.  I wonder what she was thinking?
