Come to RainCamp Seattle on June 20th in Seattle, WA and hear the unique story of J&D's Foods who are the makers of BaconSalt, Baconnaise, BaconPop, and their newest products Malt Salt and Ketchup Salt. Justin and Dave are marketing and social media geniuses.
Founder Dave Lefokow and Justin Esch started J&D's Foods with a vision of making everything taste like bacon. After many failed experiements in the kitchen, they were able to make BaconSalt as a zero calorie, vegetarian, kosher bacon-flavored salt. They quit their jobs and launched BaconSalt on FaceBook. They built a loyal and hard-core group of followers who love bacon and now BaconSalt. Based on their success of marketing on FaceBook, they were quickly picked up by QVC and then Kroger and then Safeway and now Target, Walmart, and Costco.
In 2009, their hard work culiminated with an appearance on Oprah. They were featured as entrepreneurs in the food industry. Oprah had a "no B" LT - Baconnaise, Lettuce & Tomato sandwich and Oprah loved it. Sales at J&D's Foods went through the roof and crash all of their online ordering systems.
BaconSalt and Baconnaise are regularly featured on the Daily Show with John Stewart. Justin and Dave are widely regarded as social media experts and have been featured in a number of books on successful social media businesses.
At RainCamp Seattle, founder and Chief Baconpreneur Dave Lefkow will be talking about the keys of managing FaceBook and tips that real estate professionals can apply to their businesses.
